We\u2019re talking about National Puppy Day, March 23<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Animal behaviorist and author Colleen Paige founded national Puppy Day in 2006, as a way to encourage shelter puppy adoption, while also educating the public about abusive dog breeding practices. A lifelong animal lover, Paige also founded National Dog Day and National Cat Day.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><b>Ideas For Celebrating National Puppy Day<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any activity that improves the lives of your <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lonetreevet.com\/blog\/66-2\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">puppy<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or supports the millions of shelter pets around the country counts as a celebratory act!
