"WHAT DO YOU MEAN I NEED TO BE GROOMED?"

We recommend regular grooming for dogs and cats for many of the same reasons we humans bathe, shampoo our hair, and have it trimmed regularly -- skin and hair cleanliness contributes to a good appearance and good health.

In addition, grooming aides in the detection and prevention of dermatological problems and diseases.

BENEFITS OF GROOMING

♦  Frequent visual inspection of the hair coat and skin for detection of bacterial or fungal infections, abnormal growths, and parasites

♦  Stimulates circulation, benefiting the hair follicles and skin

♦ Removes dead skin and excess oil

♦ Prevents matting of the hair coat

♦ Allows air to reach the skin and help it breathe, assisting in the prevention of moisture-related dermatitis

SCHEDULING

You can schedule your pet's grooming visit for Monday through Saturday.  To ensure availability, we recommend calling at least a couple of weeks in advance of the date you prefer.  You can reach us at 303-708-8050.

For dates near holidays, we recommend making your pet's appointment as far in advance as possible, since appointments usually fill up weeks in advance for those times.

If you would like your pet groomed while staying in our Boarding Lodge, let us know at the time you make your pet's boarding reservation so we can arrange it for the day your pet is to go home.
