SURGERY

We offer routine procedures such as spays, neuters, dentals, cystotomies, and growth removals.  We also offer non-routine procedures such as gastrointestinal surgery, exploratory surgery, ear crops, and orthopedic repairs, including the Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO). 

We can also perform several procedures using laparoscopy, or 'minimally invasive surgery', including spays, neuters of a retained testicle, cystotomies, gastropexies, biopsies, and exploratory surgery.  Laparoscopy requires only a very small incision, reducing pain by up to 65% and shortening recovery time.  

We use the safest anesthetic and pain management agents available, in order to ensure the safety and comfort of all surgery patients before, during, and after their procedure.  Pets usually will be able to go home the same day.

For all surgical procedures requiring anesthesia, we require an established patient relationship with your pet, including a physical exam with one of our veterinarians and pre-surgical blood work. 

Surgeries can be scheduled Monday through Friday, and can usually be performed by the veterinarian of your choice.  Orthopedic procedures can be scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays, and are performed only by our orthopedic surgeon.
