Lone Tree Veterinary Medical Center Mercy Care Program

Care for Pets That Have No One

Lone Tree Veterinary Medical Center believes that all pets deserve to have a good life. Each year, as a part of our Mercy Care Program, we provide medical care to injured homeless or abandoned pets that have no owner to help them receive the medical care they need.

Many of the dogs helped through our Mercy Care Program have been rescued by good Samaritans after being hit by or dumped from a moving vehicle and left to suffer and die on the side of the road. Most of these dogs have severe, painful, and disabling injuries that require extensive surgery and rehabilitation.

Through our Mercy Care Program, we help these pets by providing the orthopedic surgeries and aftercare needed to help restore the function and mobility they lost when they were injured.

Our goal is to help homeless pets regain as much mobility and normalcy as possible, so they can successfully be placed in a loving home.

As a result of our Mercy Care Program and the commitment of our Lone Tree Veterinary Medical Center team, the many pets we have helped over the years have gone on to live active and healthy lives in the comfort and security of forever homes.
